Hi lovely, I’m Julie, the heart and hands behind Amethyst Designs. What began as a small dream to infuse everyday moments with a bit more magic has blossomed into something truly special.

My journey started as a dressmaker, crafting beautiful, intricate pieces that made people feel confident and inspired. Over time, I realized that the joy of creating extended far beyond fashion—it was in how I made my own space feel special, cozy, and full of life. That’s when the idea of amethyst designs was born: blending my love for dressmaking with my passion for homemaking.

At amethyst designs, we believe in romanticizing life—whether it’s baking your favorite cookies, setting the table for a cozy dinner, or even making the bed. It’s about taking those small, often overlooked moments and transforming them into something worth cherishing.

I wanted to create a collection of homewares that brings a splash of color, a hint of nostalgia, and a touch of joy to your daily routine. And so, here we are: a collection of sustainable, handmade, one-of-a-kind treasures designed to brighten up your space and your life.

Each piece is crafted with love from recycled vintage fabrics—giving new life to textiles that might have otherwise been forgotten. It’s my way of honoring the past while creating something that speaks to the future. Every stitch tells a story, and each item carries with it a piece of history.
